At a European Union roundtable discussion with MPs and MEPs, I was asked to develop an EU strategy on migration and child protection that would be implemented for five years. My primary emphasis areas as a representative of the project I co-led with the Swiss NGO Terre des Hommes were young involvement, supporting existing programs, and inclusion in decision-making processes. MEP Helde Vautmans and the Initiative for Children in Migration organized the session in the European Parliament in Brussels.
